DESO Bunded Tanks have been engineered to exceed the most demanding requirements, including the relevant aspects of The Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) (England) Regulations 2001, The Water Environment (Oil Storage) (Scotland) Regulations 2006, British Standard BS5410, The Pollution Prevention Guideline PPG2 and comparable requirements throughout the United Kingdom. For ease of installation every Harlequin Bunded Tank is available complete with electronic tank contents gauge, failsafe overfill prevention capability and a choice of top outlet or bottom outlet with tank fitting kit.

Please note that domestic and commercial oil tanks should only be installed by a suitably competent person such as an OFTEC or APHC Registered Oil Tank Installation Technician in accordance with the oil tank manufacturers instructions and statutory requirements. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please note that DESO Bunded Tanks are unsuitable for connection to gravity fed diesel delivery systems incorporating a flexible hose and trigger nozzle. DESO Top Outlet Tanks are suitable only for connection to systems incorporating a pressure jet burner or oil lift equipment. They are not suitable for connection to equipment incorporating a vaporising burner. If in doubt please contact boiler, cooker or stove manufacture prior to order placement.
